After reviewing 27 years of Capital Food & Wine Festival posters, I was inspired to make a new design that paid homage to the earlier editions while infusing new energy into their identity. This resulted in a vibrant, painterly northwest vineyard scene with a few animals to keep the charm factor high.
The illustration served as the event’s visual theme on their website, Facebook page, event tickets, award certificates, thank you cards, business cards, etc.
